Here are the ceremony highlights as played at the reception from Sujen and David's wedding. This wedding was a reminder to us that summer is here, because it was so hot!!! However, we always say that heat is much better than rain! Sujen and David were really good sports about being in the hot sun during the photo shoots, and I'm sure they will be rewarded by Shawn Starr's photos. Their sunset was beautiful, even for Lanikuhonua. Sandra and her crew from Finishing Touch did a great job coordinating. Shawn, Sandra, and us just shot Erna and Stuart's wedding at Lanikuhonua a few weeks ago, so today was deja vu. Congratulations Sujen and David!!!

Clarissa and Brian
Here are the wedding day highlights from Clarissa and Brian's wedding on May 3, 2008. Clarissa has the most infectious smile, and she gives off such a great vibe just being around her. Brian, on the other hand, seems to be a little quieter (but equally nice). He is the first Rocket Scientist that I have ever met, although he is now a lawyer (as is Clarissa). Another thing that really strikes me about Clarissa is her relationship with her father. She is without a doubt a Daddy's little girl! I hope that Kylie and I can have the same sort of relationship as she grows up. During their father daughter dance, they actually transitioned from "Wind Beneath My Wings" to "Thriller"!!! It was great, and it was difficult to keep the camera steady with all my laughing. As always, we had a great time working with Shawnee Hammer from L'Elegance Bridal Consultants, as well as their photographers, Visionari. Congratulations Clarissa and Brian!!!

Kualoa Ranch
Today we went to Kualoa Ranch, and Kylie got to ride a horse for the first time! We told her yesterday and the first thing she said when she woke up this morning was, "Are we going to ride horses today?" We were supposed to be there at 11:30, but there was so much traffic that we didn't get there until 12:15. However, they were so nice that they actually called one of the workers off of lunch to let her ride!!! The ride only lasted 5 minutes, but it was worth it. There is nothing better as a parent than seeing joy on your child's face. We can't wait to take her again!!!
Michelle & Mitchell
Here are the ceremony highlights as played at tonight's reception from Michelle and Mitchell's wedding. Their ceremony was held at Central Union, and their reception followed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. They chose Dave Au as their photographer, and he was great to work with. Surprisingly, this was the first time we have worked with Dave, but hopefully we will see him again in the near future. Congratulations Michelle and Mitchell!!!

Kim and Khalil's Photo Shoot
One of the most common questions we get is, "What is the photo shoot coverage in your packages?' Well, here is an example from Kim and Khalil's wedding at Paradise Cove. Basically we follow alongside the photographer (in this case our good friend Shawn Starr), and get all the couples' friends and family in the video. Thanks Kim and Khalil!!!

Laura & Kalen
Here are the ceremony highlights from tonight's wedding of Laura and Kalen. Their wedding took place at the Hale Koa Hotel in the Maile Garden, and the ceremony followed in the Waikiki Ballroom. They are such an amazing couple, they literally glow when they look at each other. They chose not to see each other before the ceremony, and you can tell by his reaction that Kalen liked what he saw. This was an especially fun wedding because we knew a lot of people in the bridal party and the audience. They chose Derek Wong as their photographer, and I know they will be happy with their pictures because Derek always does a great job, and he is so easy to work with. Congratulations Laura and Kalen!!!
Denise & Jon
Here are the ceremony highlights as played at the reception from Denise & Jon's wedding on Kauai. We had a great time at the wedding, but it was a very long day. However, I really enjoy shooting outer island weddings, because it is such a nice refreshing change. Denise was the maid of honor at Bianca & Saa's wedding, which we shot a little over a year ago. This time, Bianca was the Matron of honor. But overall, we had a great time and we feel privileged to be a part of their wedding. For now, it's off to get a little more sleep to get ready for Laura and Kalen's wedding. I wouldn't be so tired, except one of our videograpers (who shall remain nameless) sounds like a freight train when he sleeps! Anyway, thanks again Denise & Jon!!!

Lisa and Shannon
Here are the wedding day highlights from the wedding of Lisa and Shannon. We really enjoyed working with this couple, and I will never forget their garter toss!!! But seriously, they make such a great couple and we feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of their wedding. Their wedding was coordinated beautifully by Weddings by Grace & Mona. Mona and her crew are always a pleasure to work with, and they make our jobs much easier. Congratulations Lisa and Shannon!!!

Best Garter Toss Ever!!!
So as I am working on Lisa and Shannon's video, I can hear Janice laughing in the other room. Turns out she is watching Oprah and she is having a special on America's Funniest Videos. They showed a couple wedding bloopers, and we are both rolling. I was thinking to myself, too bad we've never had anything that funny to send in. Less than 5 minutes later, I go back to work and I saw this clip!!! I think what makes it even more funny is George Smith's reaction (their photographer)!
Jenni and Matthew
Here are the wedding day highlights from Jenni and Matthew's wedding at Ko'olau Golf Course. I really love shooting at Ko'olau because of the beautiful mountain scenery. The only problem is that it tends to rain a lot. Thankfully, it only rained a little this day, so they were able to get some great shots. There is one more thing that I love about the Ko'olau - their bread pudding!!! But seriously, we had a great time at their wedding, and we really appreciate Jenni and Matthew allowing us to be a part of their day!!!

Going to Kauai!!!
This Saturday will be a little different from our normal weddings, because we will be shooting Denise and Jon's wedding on Kauai. This will be our first outer island wedding in about a year, and only our 5th outer island wedding ever. It's a lot of fun, but the problem is getting all of our equipment there. There will be 3 of us, and we will each have 2 checked in pieces and one carry-on. We will be bringing 3 cameras, 3 tripods, a jib, tons of audio equipment (and I mean tons - we love audio!), a projector, a deck, and a laptop. Not to mention our personal items (we will be staying overnight), and all the small items (tapes, walkie-talkies, extra batteries, headphones, cables, etc.). We have hard cases to protect everything, but I still get a little nervous checking in thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Janice has another wedding on Oahu Saturday, so she won't be making the trip. However, I am still really excited for the trip and can't wait to go!!!

Amy and Stan
Here are the wedding day highlights from Amy and Stan's wedding at the Halekulani (Hau Terrace). We love shooting at the Hau Terrace because it is very private (no on-lookers), and incredibly convenient. Mike and the crew from Visionari were a lot of fun to work with. Amy and Stan are very laid back and easy to work for, so we really enjoyed ourselves at their wedding. Thanks Amy and Stan!!!

Emily & Mike
This is the ceremony highlights as played at the reception from tonight's wedding of Emily and Mike. The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Peace in Downtown Honolulu. This was the first time we shot at this church, and it was absolutely beautiful. The church is actually about 165 years old!!! Emily and Mike are such a sweet couple, and we really enjoyed being a part of their wedding. Vince from Love Story Weddings did a great job with their photographs (we did a photo shoot after the ceremony at La Pietra School for Girls). We also really enjoyed working with Tony from The DJ Hawaii. Congratulations Emily and Mike!!!

Diana and Shaun
This is the wedding day highlights from Diana and Shaun's wedding on March 22, 2008. My favorite shot is of Shaun's parents when Shaun's stepfather laughs and then elbows his mother (the preacher was talking about how with time the emotion of getting married will fade). I did not catch that shot when I was editing their ceremony highlights, but I noticed it when I was editing the full ceremony. Diana and Shaun are a great couple and it was an honor to be a part of their wedding. We also booked a couple of their friends who saw us at their wedding, and we look forward to seeing Diana and Shaun at their weddings. It is truly the greatest honor to have happy clients refer us to their friends and family. Thank you Diana and Shaun!!!

Liana and Stephen
Here are the wedding day highlights from Liana and Stephen's wedding at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We had a blast at this wedding, mainly because Liana and Stephen have so much personality! Liana is from Hawaii and Stephen is from Boston, which is where they currently reside. It was also great to work with their photographer, Arna. We had to battle a couple elements, but it all worked out great in the end. Congratulations Liana and Stephen !!!

Clarissa & Brian
This is the ceremony highlights from tonight's wedding at the Halekulani. They had a beautiful wedding. I really loved purple lighting and a monogram of their wedding logo that lighted the dance floor. Shawnee Hammer from L'Elegance Bridal Consultants did a great job as their coordinator, and emcee Gregg Hammer kept the guest entertained throughout the evening. We always have great time working with their photographer, Visionari. Thank you Clarissa and Brian for allowing us to capture your special day!!!

Allison and Charles
This is the wedding day highlights from the wedding of Allison and Charles on March 22, 2008. This is another bride who has an absolutely beautiful smile, and you can feel the love between the two of them. This wedding was one of the most entertaining weddings I have ever been a part of. I really found a lot of comfort in realizing that I am not the worst dancer in the world, since I found 2 guys who dance worse than me!!! The garter toss was a little scary because the little boy fell on his head, but he was okay. Visionari did a great job on their photos, as always. Congratulations Allison and Charles!!!
