Here are the ceremony highlights from Traci and Brandon's wedding. Their ceremony was held at Central Union and the reception followed at the Hilton Kuhio Hotel. This was also a very special day for Brandon because it was his Birthday. Their wedding day started off with hair and make up by Naturally You, and the day was photographed by Love Story Weddings. Thank you Traci and Brandon for allowing us to capture your special day!!! Traci & Brandon from Video 21 Productions on Vimeo.
This is the ceremony highlights from tonight's wedding of Keri and Eldon. I was cracking up when Eldon decided to freshen up his breath before their kiss! It was also really cool that the ring bearer had a female tuxedo. It was the first time I had ever seen that, but I have a feeling they might have started a new trend. Congratulations Keri and Eldon!!! Keri & Eldon from Video 21 Productions on Vimeo.
This is the wedding day highlights from Michelle and Peter's wedding. This is the day the gas truck spilled, causing the closure of the freeway in Kapolei. This caused their ceremony to be over an hour late, but things ended up working out great in the end (they always do). Congratulations Michelle and Peter!!! This is the ceremony highlights as played at Keri and Lawrence's reception. Their ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Church in Hawaii Kai, and their reception followed at the Hyatt. They also took photos with Dulce at La Pietra School for Girls. Congratulations Keri & Lawrence!!! Keri and Lawrence from Video 21 Productions on Vimeo.
This is the wedding day highlights from Lesley and Jason. They had a small, intimate wedding at the Westin Moana Surfrider. The weather was beautiful, as was their wedding. We also had a lot of fun working with the guys from Visionari, as we always do. Congratulations Lesley and Jason!!! Lesley and Jason from Video 21 Productions on Vimeo.
This is the ceremony highlights from today's wedding of Debbie and Shane. We're so happy their wedding was indoors, because it wouldn't have made it outdoors because of the heavy rains. We were in Kailua for their getting ready footage, as well as the ceremony, and it was pouring the majority of the time! However, by the time the ceremony was over and we headed downtown for more pictures, the sun came out and the weather was beautiful. I'm always amazed how that happens almost every wedding for us! Debbie and Shane had a beautiful wedding, and it was great to be a part of it. Congratulations Debbie and Shane!!!
This is the wedding day highlights from Tiana and Dante's wedding on the beautiful island of Kauai. We love shooting on Kauai, and we had a great time at Tiana and Dante's wedding. As Tiana put on her veil, I think it really hit her that she was getting married, and we got such an emotional reaction (my favorite shot of the wedding). As we were traveling from the ceremony to the reception, the couple and their bridal party had a convoy of SUV's riding through town. Everyone was honking and waving as they were driving. It was hilarious!!! Their reception was one of the biggest we have ever been a part of, there must have been close to 1000 people! It's so funny to me how the smaller islands tend to have the biggest weddings. Thanks Tiana and Dante for having us at you wedding!!! Tiana and Dante from Video 21 Productions on Vimeo.
The Koolau Golf Club is one of the best locations for great photos. It has beautiful views of the Koolau Mountains, which makes for amazing photos and video. They just recently added an outdoor ceremony site, which was long overdue. Because it is located on the windward side of the island, there is always a concern for rain. However, often times it is just quick showers that dry up quickly. They have a glass ballroom, as well as another ballroom for bigger functions. Koolau is another place that has great bread pudding (if you can't tell, I really love bread pudding). They can be reached at (808) 247-8873. Koolau Golf Club from Video 21 Productions on Vimeo.
The Sheraton Waikiki has recently undergone major renovations, and it looks great. Typically, most couples choose to do their photo shoot at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, which is next door, since the there are not too many location of the Sheraton property. The normal location for wedding ceremonies is the Niihau room, which has a beautiful ocean and Diamond Head View. It's also nice because half of the room is indoors, which is ideal for older guests. The ballrooms are very nice, especially since they have been modernized with the renovations. They also have the ability to accommodate a very large amount of guests for the reception (we shot one wedding with about 800 guests!). They can be reached at (808) 922-4422. The Hilton Hawaiian Village is the biggest hotel on Oahu (I don't know that for sure, but it's got to be), and it is a really beautiful property. There are some great spots for photos throughout the property, along with some beautiful beaches. The Ocean Crystal Chapel also sits on the property, although it is actually owned by Best Bridal. The chapel is really pretty (especially from the outside), however it is probably better for smaller weddings due to its small size. The Hilton also has a couple lawns that make for great ceremony sites. They have several ballroom, which are able to accommodate very large receptions. The food is really good (especially the bread pudding). However, the huge size of the hotel makes it often times very crowded, which can be a bit of a pain. They can be reached at (808) 949-4321. The Ihilani is definitely one of the most beautiful hotels on Oahu. It has more of a "country" feel (probably because it is out in the country). In my opinion, the grounds are the most beautiful of all the hotels. Most ceremonies take place on either the lawn or in the gazebo. Both are great locations, but I believe the lawn works better with large wedding because not as many people can fit in the gazebo. There is also a beautiful private beach (actually it's public, but it is usually pretty empty) that is a great location for sunset shots. The ballrooms are beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. They can be reached at (808) 679-0079. Ihilani Resort & Spa from Video 21 Productions on Vimeo.
Here is the Ceremony Highlights that were played at Pam and Reynold's reception. Their Ceremony took place at Anela Gardens Chapel in Diamond Head and their reception followed at Hale Koa. This was the second time this weekend that we were at Hale Koa. Pam was definitely a stylish bride. She was our first bride to wear a visor veil that one of her bridesmaids made for her. She also choose cute bridesmaids dresses and they all looked beautiful. I hope that this was a perfect day for Pam. Congratulations Pam and Reynold!
Here's the ceremony highlights from last night's wedding of Jeanelle and Chad. This was our first time shooting at the newly renovated Royal Hawaiian, and it is beautiful. The weather was really windy and cold (at least by Hawaii standards), but we (mostly) avoided the rain. This wedding was especially fun for us because 4 of our previous couples were there. Congratulations Jeanelle and Chad!!! Jeanelle & Chad from Video 21 Productions on Vimeo.
We are a husband and wife team that is blessed to have our dream job. We have a daughter, Kylie, who recently turned 5 years old. She is the love of our lives, and one that keeps us motivated to strive for the best. We started our business shortly after we were married (2003), and we are very proud of the success that we have had. We believe that the key to our success has been professionalism and sincerity. We truly want to give all of our couples a video memory that they will enjoy forever.
