Betsy & Jerome

Ceremony Venue: St. Joseph's Church
Reception Venue: Hilton Hawaiian Village
Photographer: Love Story Weddings

What an incredible wedding! Betsy and Jerome blended their Filipino and Samoan cultures together beautifully as they joined their lives together. They had both a Samoan money dance, as well as a filipino money dance. They also had a Samoan Slap dance, which is one of our favorite parts of Samoan weddings. This was definitely a very memorable wedding, and we are thankful to have been a part of it. Thank you Betsy and Jerome!!!

Tricia and Manny

Venue: Hale Koa (Maile Garden and Waikiki Ballroom
Photographer: Love Story Weddings

What a fun couple!!! From the moment we arrived as they were getting ready, the fun never stopped. We met Tricia and Manny at Shawnie and Nathan's wedding last year, since they were in each other's bridal party. This really made us feel like we were part of the group, and I think it made the bridal party much more comfortable. Thank you Tricia and Manny!!!

Sandi and Taeho

Venue: Halekulani (Hau Terrace)
Photographer: Rachel Robertson
Florist: Su-V Expressions

This is the Wedding Day Highlights from Sandi and Taeho's wedding. I loved how were both so natural around the camera. It was easy to tell how in love they were. They just looked into each others eyes and kissed all day.
They choose the Halekuani Hau Terrace, which is one of my favorite places to shoot because the ceremony and reception were next to each other making it very easy for the couple to mingle with their guests.
Thank you Sandi and Taeho for choosing us to capture your special day.

Sukhi and Gordy

Venue: Turtle Bay Resort
Coordinator: Exquisite Hawaiian Weddings and Event Production
DJ/Emcee: Showtime DJ's

This was without a doubt one of the most interesting, fun, and entertaining weddings we have ever been a part of. It was our first Indian wedding, and it was totally different from the Western style weddings that we are used to. However, we always love to experience different cultures, and we had an absolute blast at Sukhi and Gordy's wedding. Gordy looks like a totally different person at the ceremony than he does at the reception. I actually walked right by him before the reception began, and had no idea it was him!!! The most interesting part of the evening to us was the dance music at the end of the reception. Teley B. from Showtime DJ's really rocked the place, and we loved the Indian hip hop music. Janice and I were tempted to go out there and dance too!!! Thank you Sukhi and Gordy!!!

Kristi & Neal

Venue: The Kahala
Photographer: Visionari
Florist: SU-V Expressions
Coordinator: A Perfect Day
Lighting: REA Events

Kristi and Neal was a very special wedding for us to be a part of, for many reasons. We shot one of her bridesmaid's weddings last year, and we have another bridesmaid scheduled for next year. It's such an honor to be a part of all their weddings, and we are so glad that we will be seeing them again in the near future. As a coincidence, I used to work with Neal many years ago at Zippy's, so it's really good to see him doing well for himself. Congratulations Kristi and Neal!!!

Shannon and Chris

Venue: Hale Koa (Luau Gardens)
Photographer: Love Story Weddings
Florist: Always Flowers
Emcee: Augie T.

Shannon and Chris are one of those couples where you can just feel the love between them. This was very obvious from their first moment, and it carried over all the way to the reception. I love the shot of Shannon wiping the tears from Chris's face. They are such a joy to be around, and we are so thankful to have been a part of their day.

Jackie & Garrick

Venue: Hilton Prince Kuhio
DJ: Dynamic Sounds

I had a blast with Jackie and Garrick. They were such an awesome couple to capture. They smiled and had a great time which equals..... having a great video. One of my favorite moments was during their first dance which you can see was very fun and entertaining. After their first dance, Garrick surprised Jackie by singing her a song. Thank you for choosing us to capture your special day.

Lillian & Donald

Venue: Kamehameha Chapel/Hale Koa
Photographer: Love Story Weddings

Lillian and Donald was the last of our fifth wedding this weekend, but they definitely kept us wide awake and having lots of fun. There were some great moments caught on video, but my favorite was definitely the shot where we caught Donald "peeking" at his new wife. As expected, the room went crazy when that shot came on. It was a great moment in a wonderful wedding. Congratulations Lillian and Donald!!!

Nicole & Bryan

Venue: Halekulani
Wedding Coordinator: Hawaii Weddings and Events
Photographer: Marcia Campbell
Florist: Su-V Expressions
DJ: TheDJ

Nicole and Bryan had so much fun at their wedding, and this video is merely a reflection of it. From the moment they laid eyes on each other, they were laughing and giggling (with an occasional tear mixed in as well). The giggle bug even got them in the ceremony, and they just couldn't stop laughing. Overall, it was another great wedding at the Halekulani, and we had a great time working with Nicole and Bryan, as well as all their fabulous vendors!

Sheena & Chad

This is the ceremony highlights from today's wedding of Sheena and Chad. They were married at the beautiful (but incredibly hot) Lanikuhonua. Their expressions made this one of our favorite videos in a while. As they exited from the ceremony, the couple and the bridal party danced to a song from "Grease". It was a great moment in a beautiful wedding. Congratulations Sheena and Chad!!!

Angie and Jon

Venue: Halekulani
Photographer: Mark Nomura
Florist: Always Flowers
Hair & Make-up: Beverly Kaneshige

This was our second Mizushima wedding, since we did Jon's sister's wedding last year (Stefanie & Nathan). Jon and Angie served as the emcee and coordinator for his sister's wedding, but now it was their turn to be the stars. Their wedding was beautiful, I especially love the groom & groomsmen in their sunglasses and top hats - how cool!!! Congratulation Angie and Jon!!!

Mei and John

Venue: Anela Gardens
Photograper: Dulce by Visionari
Hair & Make-up: Naturally You

Mei and John had one of the more interesting weddings that we have ever been a part of. They had "Chinese Games" for the groom (and his entourage) in order to see Mei, which included eating wasabi sandwiches!!! I told Janice that if I had to do that, I would have turned around and been gone forever. But John proved his love for her and did everything he was supposed to, and the rest is history...

Daphne & Grant

Location: Hale Koa (Maile Gardens/DeRussy Room)
Photographer: Kai Photo
Florist: Always Flowers

Daphne and Grant are definitely a fun, and very interesting couple. They are certainly not the most romantic couple we have ever shot (this was obvious from their record-setting short kiss), but they might be one of the most fun. I love all the funny faces they made throughout their day. They also made me sweat a little in putting this video together in time. Their ceremony started at 5:00, and the slideshow went on a little before 7:30. The reason is they had a simulated casino that started at 7:45 and they wanted lots of "gambling time". However, I made it on time and I think it came out nice. Thanks Daphne and Grant!!!
