Jeannine and Scott

Venue: Royal Hawaiian Hotel
Photographer: Garrett Nose

This is the wedding day highlights from Jeannine and Scott's wedding at the beautiful Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Although Janice had shot there since their major renovation, this was my first time. I must admit, it was very impressive. However, this day belonged to Jeannine and Scott, and their wedding would have been beautiful anywhere. This was an extra special wedding for us because we shot two of Jeannine's three bridesmaids weddings (Kristie & Mia). We see that as our biggest honor, and it was great to see them again. One unique thing about all 3 ladies is that there was some "singing performances" in each of their weddings. At Kristie's wedding, her husband Damon sang to Kristie's mom for her birthday. At Mia's wedding, her husband Chad sang a few Elvis songs to her. Not to be outdone, Jeannine sang "The Way I Am" to Scott. Congratulations Jeannine and Scott!!!

Our New "Mega Demo"

About a year ago, we made a demo video of some of our favorite shots from different weddings. We had so much fun creating it, and it got very good response. The problem is that since we made that demo, we had so many other great shots that we also wanted to include. Because of this, we decided to make another one, this time using the music of one of my favorite 80s groups, Hall & Oates. We wanted to take a little more of a light-hearted approach, with the hopes of showing people how fun weddings are, and how video can capture these moments. Hope you enjoy!!! (I have embedded this video in HD, so if the video does not play smoothly, click on the "HD is On" logo to turn the HD off-this should help)

Diana & Jason

Venue: Hale Koa (Maile Gardens & Banyan Tree Showroom)
Photographer: KU Productions

Our second wedding for Saturday was another great couple! We started off shooting at La Pietra School for their photo shoot, where we got some great shots of the beautiful couple. The "winking shot" got a lot of laughs at the reception. I also enjoyed these highlights because it was one of the only times we have ever "caught" both sets of parents crying. We love capturing these moments because it shows how important and emotional a wedding is, and it reminds us why we love what we do so much. Thank you Diana and Jason!!!

Alicia & Tom

Venue: Luana Hills
Photographer: Jayson Tanega

We had such a great time working with Alicia and Tom at their wedding. I love the shot of Tom winking as Alicia was beginning to walk down the aisle! But my favorite shot was when Tom grabbed the camera and took a picture of the two of them as the left the ceremony. They have such great personalities, which truly makes our job very easy. Congratulations Alicia and Tom!!!

Maryjean & Segundo

Venue: Filipino Community Center
Photographer: Bianca Photography
Wedding Coordinator: Savoir Faire Events

Today's wedding of Maryjean and Segundo started off on a bit of a sad note, due to rain forcing the ceremony site to be changed. However, you would never know by looking at Maryjean and Segundo, as well as all of their family and friends in attendance. They were all smiles, and their wedding was beautiful. Those smiles are truly what makes the video, and keeps us loving what we do. Congratulations Maryjean and Segundo!!!

Nicole and Kenneth

Venue: Halekulani
Photographer: Eugene Kam Photography

This is the wedding day highlights from Nicole and Kenneth's wedding at the Halekulani. We really love their song selection on this one, and it definitely matched the events of their wedding. We especially liked the bridal party's entrance into the ballroom. It was a true party atmosphere, and we are grateful to have been a part. Thank you Nicole and Kenneth!!!

Tiffany and Corey

Here is the ceremony highlights as played at the reception of Tiffany and Corey. This wedding was non-stop entertainment from the hotel room all the way to the reception. If you are wondering about the ring pops, it's because Corey proposed to Tiffany with a ring pop! The funniest part of the day was their grand entrance & first dance. They performed a bunch of hilarious dances, which had the crowd in an uproar. It was also nice to see our former bride Melinda (and groom, Chad) at the wedding. Melinda was a member of Tiffany's bridal party. Congratulations Tiffany and Corey!!!

Hawaii Bridal Films: Buyer Beware!!!

We have learned recently of a company that has taken another videographer's work and claimed it as their own. Although they did not steal any of our work (at least to our knowledge), it is still a horrible thing to do another colleague(as well as very illegal). As artists, we work very hard to create our own look, and it is not right for someone to steal that from us. Brides and grooms, please be aware of this trend, as they is surely not the only company doing this. In fact, it has happened to this videographer several times. This particular company is named Hawaii Bridal Films, and they should definitely be avoided (although you should be aware that they can very easily change their name at anytime). A good way to avoid these scams is to do a little research on your potential vendors. Ask around and make sure they are known. Hawaii is a small island, and if nobody has ever heard of them and their work looks as if they have a lot of experience, be very wary of them. We would hate for any couple to be a victim of this kind of scam, especially on the biggest day of their lives!!!

Chanelle and Allen

Venue: Kaneohe Officer's Club (Kaneohe, Hawaii)
Photographer: Love Story Weddings

What an amazing wedding this was. I have grown so close to Chanelle and Allen and felt like a part of their family. You could feel the love at this wedding. Their son was so cute! He helped both mommy and daddy getting ready for their big day.
Thank you Chanelle and Allen!!!
