Christina & Jay

Venue: Westin Moana Surfrider
Photographer: Eugene Kam Photography

This is the ceremony highlights as played at last night's reception of Christina and Jay. It was really cool to have a lion dance escort the groomsmen down the driveway, and even cooler to have the lion dancing as the fireworks were going off. After that, we all went to the Moana Surfrider, which is one of the most beautiful hotels in Hawaii. It was a great idea to have lollipops waiting for the ring bearer and flower girl at the end of the aisle, and not surprisingly, it worked. Congratulations Christina and Jay!!!

Coordinator: Finishing Touch (Sandra Williams)

This is the wedding day highlights from Annette and Jovan's wedding at the beautiful Lanikuhonua. Jovan was so animated throughout the day, which makes for some great shots. Just by watching them look at each other, you can truly feel how much they love each other. It was such a joy to witness! Congratulations Annette and Jovan!!!

Michelle and Abe

Venue: St. Joseph/Hyatt Regency Waikiki
Coordinator: Lissa Wilson

Here is the wedding day highlights from Michelle and Abe's wedding. I will always remember this couple as "The Beatles" couple, since they are HUGE Beatles fans. Every song they chose for their full video and slideshow was a song by the Beatles! For us, it was a nice change of pace from the typical wedding music. We had a great time downtown simulating the "Abbey Road" shot, but I think the onlookers were wondering what in the world we were doing! Anyway, it was a great day for a great couple. Thanks Michelle and Abe!!!

Rozanne & Courtney

Venue: St. Joseph's Church/Pacific Beach Hotel
Photographer: Love Story Weddings
Florist: Terry Easley

What a fun day! We were with this wonderful couple for almost 15 hours, and we loved every minute of it. Probably my favorite moment to capture at any wedding is the groom crying as the bride enters. Over the years, I have become pretty good at predicting which groom will cry and which won't. I have to admit, I was dead wrong on this one! It's so funny because almost every time we work at this church, the groom cries. It just goes to show that you never know what's going to happen at a wedding, which is one of the reasons we love being a part of them. We also had a blast working with Vince during their photo shoot. Of course the shot that got the most crowd reaction was the "licking the face" shot. Vince told her to do it, but I don't think anyone thought she actually would! Anyway, it was hilarious and the crowd loved it. Congratulations Rozanne and Courtney!!!

Kristie and Shaun

Venue: Halekulani
Photographer: Mark Nomura
Florist: Always Flowers

This is the wedding day highlights from Kristie and Shaun's wedding. You just got to love Shaun's reaction upon seeing Kristie for the first time in her wedding dress! It's one of those classic moments that only video can capture. Their wedding was an absolute blast, and we are honored to have been a part of it. Congratulations Kristie and Shaun!!!

Shari and Forrest

Venue: Judicial Building/Dole Ballrooms
Photographer: Strictly Photography (William Renio)
Florist: Always Flowers

Shari and Forrest were married at one of my favorite indoor locations for a ceremony, the Judicial Building. I love how they utilized the balcony above by dropping tons (and I mean tons) of flowers as they kissed and walked out. It is so impressive, although it is very messy!!! One thing I will always remember about their wedding is the Okinawan Dog, since it is the first and only time we have ever seen it. It is similar to the Chinese Lion Dance, but not as loud. We all thought it was really unique and cool, and we enjoyed being able to capture it. Congratulations Shari and Forrest!!!

Stefanie & Jared

Venue: Hyatt Regency Waikiki
Photographer: Eugene Kam Photography
Coordinator: Make it Memorable (Merissa Uchimura 808.277.6992)

This is the ceremony highlights as played at the reception of Stefanie and Jared. They were married at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. They decided to forego the heat and perform their ceremony in a ballroom, which I think was welcomed by everyone. I love Stefanie's slip-up on her vows! It was really funny because as I was putting the microphone on Jared, he mentioned to me that he hoped he wouldn't forget the vows. It was definitely a great moment from a great wedding. Congratulations Stefanie and Jared!!!

Kylie in New York City

We recently took a trip which was half business, half vacation, and 100% fun. We went to Florida for a wedding videographer's convention (and of course snuck in some time for some football games and amusement parks), followed by a trip to New York City. While in New York, we put together a short video of Kylie enjoying herself in the Big Apple. So here's my little New York City Princess:
