Cherise and Daniel

Venue: Kamehameha Chapel/Halekulani
Photographer: Shawn Starr

This is the wedding day highlights from Cherise and Daniel's wedding. Cherise has been so wonderful to us that she helped us at the last Expo in October, and hopefully we'll see her again in January. She is the only person I have ever met who went to school at Oxford University, and Daniel's pretty smart too (Radiologist). They are moving to the mainland next year for Daniel's residency, and we truly wish them the best. Thank you Cherise and Daniel!!!

Nicole and Alan

Venue: Halekulani
Photographer: Visionari

What a sweet couple! They are one of those couples that just give you a good feeling within a few minutes of being around them. They were so easy to work for, and they truly made our job so easy. Thank you Nicole and Alan!!!

Elizabeth and Travis

Venue: Lanikuhonua
Photographer: Shawn Starr
DJ/MC: Dynamic Sounds
Coordinator: Hawaii Weddings and Evnets (Dianna Shitanishi)

I really enjoyed creating this video, because there were so many wonderful shots to choose from. Travis became a little overwhelmed with emotion before his bride-to-be walked down the aisle. However, the most memorable moment for me had to be during the signing of the marriage certificate. I asked "how about a kiss", so Elizabeth blew a kiss at the camera instead of kissing her husband. It was hilarious, and a definite first for us. Thank you Elizabeth and Travis!!!

Michelle & Ericson

Venue: Hale Koa
Photographer: Love Story Weddings

This is the ceremony highlights as played at the reception of Michelle and Ericson's wedding. The day started off with some heavy rain, so the decision was made to move their ceremony to a covered location. Regardless of where the ceremony was held, it was a beautiful wedding with a great couple. It was great to see a former bride of ours, Marja, serve in Michelle's bridal party, as well as seeing another former couple as guests. It's always great to see old friends, and we all had a great time. Thank you Michelle and Ericson!!!

Charlene and Michael

Venue: Hale Koa
Photographer: Love Story Weddings

This is the wedding day highlights from one of the sweetest couples we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Their ceremony was especially touching, as they both recited their own personal wedding vows. It seemed like everyone was crying, even the vendors! The hardest part (for me to avoid crying) of any wedding for me to shoot is the father daughter dance, because I know that I will be in the dad's shoes one day (hopefully not any time soon). This wedding was no exception, as Charlene and her dad had such an emotional dance. Congratulations Charlene and Michael!!!

Lori and Bill

Venue: Halekulani
Photographer: Geralyn from Hokuli'i Images
Emcee: Gregg Hammer

This was one of my favorite "first moments" we have ever witnessed. First of all, Lori is walking to see her groom with a soda in her hand, how classic! Then, they had such a emotional meeting where you could really feel the love between them. Of course if you know us, you know that we love both laughter and tears. This wedding had no shortage of either. The bride, the groom, the parents, the guests (I think I even saw Gregg Hammer crying) were all crying and laughing throughout the day. The result was a wonderful wedding that we are so glad we were a part of. Thank you Lori and Bill!!!

Denice & Jason

Venue: Kamehameha Chapel
Photographer: Dulce

This is the ceremony highlights from Denice and Jason's wedding. This was one of the smallest weddings we have ever shot, which is a great change of pace. Regardless of how many people were there, it is very obvious that there was no shortage of love. We had a great time working with our friends from Dulce, as there is never a dull moment working with them. Congratulations Denice and Jason!!!

Cherie & Kaleo

Venue: Anela Gardens/Waikiki Marriott
Photographer: Bianca Photography
Coordinator: I DO Wedding Entertainment

This is the ceremony highlights as played at the reception of Cherie and Kaleo. As always, we always try to predict which couples will cry during the ceremony. This was an easy one, especially when I saw Kaleo wearing sunglasses for the ceremony! My favorite shot of the day was the one with their son under Cherie's veil. He was such a character, and he had so much fun under mommy's veil. Congratulations Cherie and Kaleo!!!

Tammy & Wade

Photographer: Kai Photo (Kyler Kwock)
Hair and Make up: Naturally You (CJ Bae)

This is the Ceremony Highlights that were played at Tammy and Wade's reception. They are such an awesome couple! I loved the way they looked so loving into each other eyes. You could tell that they were meant to be together. This was a very special wedding for me because Wade was my younger neighbor growing up and it makes me feel old that he is now grown up and married!
My mom was a guest at this wedding, and she was able to finally see me in action (and see that I have a real career, and not just babysitting my daughter for fun).

Joan and Aaron

This is the wedding day highlights from Joan and Aaron's wedding on Independence Day. I love how Joan keeps Aaron quiet (a quick hand over his mouth), as long as Janice doesn't do the same to me:) However, the most memorable part of this wedding was during their first dance. Right as they started dancing, fireworks went off in the background from the beautiful view of Camp Smith. It was a very memorable moment in a wonderful wedding. Thank you Joan and Aaron!!!
