This is the ceremony highlights from yesterday's wedding at the Honolulu Country Club. I thought it was really cool that we just named our son Jordan, and then we had our first Jordan as a groom (we did have a JoUrdan before). Coincidence, I think not. I love the high 5 after their kiss - so classic! We also got to see 3 of our former couples at their wedding, as they are all teachers like Christin. It was great to see them again, and great to be a part of another great wedding.

This was an extra special wedding for us, since Kekoa is a member of the Video 21 team. I can only imagine how weird it must have felt for him to be on the other side of the camera today! This was also a fun wedding for me because I got to play photographer for part of the reception. It was so much fun, but we are definitely not becoming photographers! We knew almost right away that Raylynn and Chris were not going to have a "normal" wedding. It all started when Raylynn began walking down the aisle. They sang "I Want to Grow Old With You" to each other as she walked down. It was really cute, but that was just the beginning. They also had their dog as the ring bearer, complete with a tuxedo! Then they shocked everyone during the garter removal, as Chris ripped off the bottom of her wedding dress. Those were just a few of the memorable moments in a great wedding. Congratulations Raylynn and Chris!!!

There were so many memorable moments in Tiffany and Corey's wedding, it was truly hard to keep count. What a day we had at Betsy and Jerome's wedding! Their wedding was a beautiful mix of Filipino and Samoan cultures, and the result was a spectacular wedding. Kristi and Neal had one of the most beautiful weddings we have been privileged enough to capture. It was an extra special wedding for us because we have such a connection with them, as well as their bridal party. We shot her matron of honor's wedding (Reimi and Shaun), and we will be shooting another of her bridesmaids weddings later this year (Shara and Chance). As pure coincidence, I used to work with Neal at Zippy's quite a few years ago. It was great to see them "tie the knot" and we look forward to seeing them at Shara's wedding!

We had such a great time at Jackie and Garrick's wedding, especially at their reception. From the moment they walked in at their grand entrance, their reception was a party. This is the wedding day highlights from Megan and Jeff's wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony at Kailua Beach, but they had an especially moving reception. I especially enjoyed the speech by Megan's mother, which brought out a lot of emotion for everyone in the room. Her speech actually got a standing ovation! Today was not a typical Saturday work day for us, since we got to take a trip to the beautiful island of Kauai for Jacque and Chris's wedding. We love outer island weddings (except for the lack of sleep). We left Oahu at 5:30 a.m. and returned home at 11:30 p.m.! Despite the long day, we had a blast! Jacque and Chris had an absolutely spectacular wedding, complete with ballroom dancing and Cirque de Solei performances! The end result was a very memorable wedding on the Garden Isle. Congratulations Jacque and Chris!!!

I really enjoyed creating this video, because there were so many wonderful shots to choose from. Travis became a little overwhelmed with emotion before his bride-to-be walked down the aisle. However, the most memorable moment for me had to be during the signing of the marriage certificate. I asked "how about a kiss", so Elizabeth blew a kiss at the camera instead of kissing her husband. It was hilarious, and a definite first for us. Thank you Elizabeth and Travis!!!

This was one of my favorite "first moments" we have ever witnessed. First of all, Lori is walking to see her groom with a soda in her hand, how classic! Then, they had such a emotional meeting where you could really feel the love between them. Of course if you know us, you know that we love both laughter and tears. This wedding had no shortage of either. The bride, the groom, the parents, the guests (I think I even saw Gregg Hammer crying) were all crying and laughing throughout the day. This is the Ceremony Highlights that were played at Tammy and Wade's reception. They are such an awesome couple! I loved the way they looked so loving into each other eyes. You could tell that they were meant to be together. This was a very special wedding for me because Wade was my younger neighbor growing up and it makes me feel old that he is now grown up and married!
My mom was a guest at this wedding, and she was able to finally see me in action (and see that I have a real career, and not just babysitting my daughter for fun).

I love how Joan keeps Aaron quiet (a quick hand over his mouth), as long as Janice doesn't do the same to me:) However, the most memorable part of this wedding was during their first dance. This is the ceremony highlights as played at last night's reception of Christina and Jay. It was really cool to have a lion dance escort the groomsmen down the driveway, and even cooler to have the lion dancing as the fireworks were going off. After that, we all went to the Moana Surfrider, which is one of the most beautiful hotels in Hawaii. It was a great idea to have lollipops waiting for the ring bearer and flower girl at the end of the aisle, and not surprisingly, it worked. Congratulations Christina and Jay!!!

What a fun day! We were with this wonderful couple for almost 15 hours, and we loved every minute of it. Probably my favorite moment to capture at any wedding is the groom crying as the bride enters. Over the years, I have become pretty good at predicting which groom will cry and which won't. I have to admit, I was dead wrong on this one! It's so funny because almost every time we work at this church, the groom cries. It just goes to show that you never know what's going to happen at a wedding, which is one of the reasons we love being a part of them. We also had a blast working with Vince during their photo shoot. Of course the shot that got the most crowd reaction was the "licking the face" shot. Vince told her to do it, but I don't think anyone thought she actually would! Anyway, it was hilarious and the crowd loved it. Congratulations Rozanne and Courtney!!!

Shari and Forrest were married at one of my favorite indoor locations for a ceremony, the Judicial Building. I love how they utilized the balcony above by dropping tons (and I mean tons) of flowers as they kissed and walked out. It is so impressive, although it is very messy!!! One thing I will always remember about their wedding is the Okinawan Dog, since it is the first and only time we have ever seen it. It is similar to the Chinese Lion Dance, but not as loud. We all thought it was really unique and cool, and we enjoyed being able to capture it. Congratulations Shari and Forrest!!!
